Acas (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) aims to improve organisations and working life through better employment relations.

We provide independent, impartial advice and guidance, high quality training and services to help employers and employees solve problems and improve performance.

We have a wealth of information available on our website including many downloadable booklets, guides and Codes of Practice.  Employers and employees can also call our free helpline on 08457 47 47 47 for support and guidance on employment rights and rules or best practice.

Acas is well-known for resolving disputes between groups of employees and their employers. However we also help to resolve individual disputes between staff through workplace mediation or conciliation if a worker feels they have been denied their legal rights by their employer.

Our training services cover a vast range of topics such as absence management, discipline and grievance, employing people, employment law updates and contracts of employment, to name a few.
